Preschool & Nursery

"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." ~ Matt 18:10

Parents with children three years of age and under are encouraged to take advantage of the nursery and preschool. Our preschool ministry is staffed with caring workers who are trained to work with each age group. Beautiful nursery facilities are provided near the auditorium in the event parents are needed to attend to their children. In addition to receiving the careful attention of our workers, children will enjoy singing Bible songs and learning exciting Bible stories.

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

The children’s ministry is designed to help parents as they strive to bring up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Bible-teaching Sunday School classes, Bible memory programs, summer events, special outings and activities, and much more are planned to help children grow in their Christian lives.

Teen Ministry

The Pleasant Beach Baptist Teens for Christ is an exciting ministry for young people in the seventh through twelfth grades. We encourage teenagers to reach all the potential God has given them and to live their lives with faith in Christ and a genuine concern for others.

Couples Ministry

Our couples ministry is committed to having God be the forefront of your marriage and relationship. We would love for you and your spouse to have the best relationship possible with the Lord.

Senior Saints

"With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding."
~ Job 12:12

Our ministry gives senior adults a place to continue to grow in their faith and to show the wisdom they have achieved through experience. The purpose of the Senior Saints' ministry is to strengthen and encourage a community of senior adults and equip them to reach, teach, minister, and fellowship.

Our Senior Saints enjoy ministering together in nursing homes and serving others in our community as well as special activities and trips throughout the year. It is an encouragement and an example to see a faithful group of servants.

Sunday School

There is a class for every member of your family. The purpose of the Sunday School is not to merely teach a Bible lesson. It is to teach, train, and equip so that we might, in turn, teach others the eternal truths we have been taught. This is also a wonderful time for Christian fellowship.

World Missions

Our mission is to obey the command of the Lord Jesus Christ to take the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Every member of the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church has the responsibility to be a part of world evangelism through prayer, giving, and going. Jesus Christ has commanded that we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest. Church members receive reports from and are encouraged to pray for missionaries supported by the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Mailing and email addresses are listed each week in our Wednesday evening prayer sheet to provide members an opportunity to encourage missionaries with notes and letters.

Radio Ministry

Our beloved former Pastor Bob Stout began a weekly radio program more than forty years ago. It is the joy and privilege of Pastor Fowler to continue this vital ministry. The radio reaches out into many homes and retirement communities touching many who cannot or do not attend our services. The “Baptist Revival Hour” can be heard Sunday mornings from 7:45-8:00 a.m. on WBEJ 1240 AM or 107.9 FM.

Music Ministry

Worship is the act of loving and responding to God. We enjoy worshipping the Lord through Christ-honoring music that uplifts the name of the Lord. You can expect music from our choirs, groups, instrumentalists and individuals that honors Christ; preparing the heart for worship and the ministry of the Word of God. It is a joy to sing the great hymns of the faith and to listen to our choir sing great gospel songs.

Outreach Ministry

We believe that each member of a local New Testament Church should seek to reach the lost for the Lord Jesus Christ on a regular basis. At Pleasant Beach Baptist Church we offer a variety of opportunities for people to serve the Lord. We hope that you will plan to be involved in the work that the Lord has given us to do.

Transportation Ministry

Each week children, teens, and adults are brought to the church services of Pleasant Beach Church in one of our vans or in personal vehicles. We are excited to have the opportunity to minister to those who could not otherwise attend. It is a great joy to see these growing in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
